Kamala Subramaniam Matriculation Higher Secondary School is a unique educational institution in Thanjavur district, It nurtures, in the minds of young children, all the values necessary for a successful & meaningful life. The aim of the institution is the accomplishment of the overall development of earch child, irrespective of the caste, creed and religion. Shri. A. Subramaniam Chettiar & SP. Kamalam Achi started the school in 1989.
The Education & charitable trust aims at providing quality education, based on sound educational principles. In 1989, the strength of the school was 300 students & 55 teachers. Now the strength has increased to 3200 students with 150 teachers.
